Jennifer Reeser was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on October 30, 1968. She is the author of two collections, An Alabaster Flask (2003) and Winterproof (2005), both published by Word Press. Her poems, articles, and translations of French and Russian literature appear in such journals as Poetry, Botteghe Oscure, The National Review, Salt, Louisiana Literature and The Formalist.
